Growing Through Movement

Explore • Create • Reflect

Movement can help us notice how our bodies feel, express ourselves, and discover new ways to move and grow.

Choose a place to begin.

EXPLORE
Choose a movement that feels comfortable, calming, energizing, or strong. Try it slowly, quickly, or in your own way.

CREATE
Create a short movement pattern using 2–4 movements. You might stretch, reach, balance, bend, turn, or make up a movement of your own.

REFLECT
What did you notice about your energy, focus, or how you felt while you were moving?

Choose How You Want to Create

Movement can tell a story, express a feeling, or simply help you explore. Choose what feels right for you.

Show It
Record a short video of a movement that is calming or energizing.

Build a Sequence
Put 2–4 movements together, give the sequence a name if you’d like, and record a short clip.

Demonstrate It
Record a short video showing how to do one or more movements from your sequence.

Show the Shift
Take a photo or create a simple digital graphic or note showing how your energy, focus, or mood feels before and after the sequence.

You can move, record, create, or simply notice. Choose the option that feels comfortable and interesting to you. There is never a need to appear on camera for this digital experience.

Take It With You

You might choose a stretch, balance, reach, turn, yoga pose, or a movement you created yourself.

Optional: Try your movement again later, take a photo that reminds you of it, or add it to your Adventure Journal.
