My Roots of Support

Explore • Create • Reflect

The people, places, routines, and things we care about can help us feel supported, connected, and strong.

Choose a place to begin.

EXPLORE
Think of someone, somewhere, or something that helps you feel supported or connected.

CREATE
Choose a word, symbol, image, or small gesture that represents one of your roots of support.

REFLECT
What helps you feel rooted when you need support?

Choose How You Want to Create

Support can come from people, places, routines, memories, or things that help you feel grounded and connected.

Map It
Create a simple digital “roots of support” map. Put yourself in the center and add people, places, routines, memories, or things that support you.

Tell the Story
Record a short audio or video about a person, place, routine, or memory that helps you feel supported.

Create a Connection Collage
Make a digital collage using photos, words, colors, symbols, or images that represent your roots of support.

Send Some Support
Create a digital note, card, image, or message for someone who has supported you. You can keep it private or choose to share it.

Choose the option that feels meaningful and comfortable to you.

You never need to identify or share anything you would rather keep private.

Take It With You

Choose one root of support you’d like to remember today.

You might choose a person, pet, place, routine, activity, memory, or something else that helps you feel connected or strong.

Optional: Take a photo that reminds you of your root of support, save a word or name in your phone, or add it to your Adventure Journal.
